In 1953, Refik Erduran, Ertem Eğilmez, and Haldun Sel co-founded Çağlayan Publishing. Caglayan Publishing House, in those years, began to publish colorful and film-like squares illustration, pocketbook sizes, affordable and fashionable novels.
